Development of Cutting Temperature Model Based on Experiment and Analysis of its Influencing Factors in Cutting ADI

Abstract Austempered ductile iron (ADI) is a difficult material with severe tool wear during machining, due to the high cutting temperatures in zone. In this paper, mathematical model of temperature developed based on turning experiment, and impact speed, feeding depth ADI studied. When speed feed increase, large amount heat cannot be dissipated, zone increases. increases, increase dissipation area makes change not obvious. This research has important engineering significance for studying mechanism improving efficiency.
